BAS

BAS, or Building Automation System, is the automatic control of a building’s heating, ventilation, security, lighting, and electrical commercial systems. The prime feature of “smart” buildings, BAS improves both energy efficiency and occupant convenience.
BAS monitors and controls all aspects of a building through a computer network of electronic devices. Examples include lights that turn on and off based on occupancy, temperature controls based on time of day, and electrical commercial project and security alarm monitoring and notifications. Due to reduced human monitoring and automatically adjusted building aspects, BAS contributes significant savings through reduced energy costs and operating expenses.
Most new buildings already incorporate some aspect of BAS, while older buildings can be retrofitted as well, often with insurance or tax-saving incentives.
Max Electric is able to install brand new BAS systems, or integrate additional functions into an existing BAS.
